Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film generally in the genre of martial arts and horror. genre, which is roughly comparable to The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and a morbid enjoyment of the genre. Her reviews started at the end of 2009 and, after she gained some fame (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used) Allison Pregler was part of Channel Awesome's family. She was on the website until early 2015 when the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was revamped to Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts which cover the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
