Alissa white-gluz is a Canadian singer, best known as the singer of Swedish melodic metal band Arch Enemy. She was also the former vocalist, founding member, and lead of Canadian metalcore group the Agonist. She can be heard with a grunting voice and a clean one. The Agonist are known primarily for Vicky Psarakis' ability to utilize both clean and metal growls, and Danny Marino's use of multiple melodies that intersect and unorthodox chords which typically feature large intervals and the displacement of octaves. Gossow's departure as Arch Enemy voice was announced by the band on March 17th, 2014 in order for her to spend more time with her family and concentrate on other things. Gossow recommend Alissa Gluz (from Canadian metalband The Agonist) as her successor, while remaining the business manager of the band. Aliyah is best known as an actress from Canada.
